The 45th president is expected to surrender on Tuesday in Manhattan, where he built his legend as a brash popular culture figure and real estate magnate but may now engineer his downfall in the case of "The People of the State of New York Against Donald J. Trump."

— Donald Trump will make his court debut this week as the first former president to be charged with a crime, bringing America into yet another tragic and extraordinary national drama.

The 45th president is anticipated to give himself up on Tuesday in Manhattan, where he made his name as a brazen figure in pop culture and a business tycoon. Nevertheless, he may now be able to manufacture his own demise in the case of "The People of the State of New York Vs Donald J. Trump."

After a grand jury probe, Trump will return to New York in what will be stunning scenes.
